What: Jason and Nathaniel get busted when the girls come home early.
Jason had just finished closing the curtains and making the room as dark as possible, happy that Khemrys had stuff like curtains and he didn't have to pin sheets up over the windows. Nathaniel smiled up at him from his nest of blankets on the couch. "Thanks for this, Jay. I didn't really think about how long it's been..."
Jason handed him a bowl and a spoon. "I know, it's been hard to find the time. But that movie night with the girls made me realize we hadn't done this in awhile." He flopped down next to Nathaniel with his own bowl. "Ok, this one is Fruity Pebbles. Let me know what you think."
Nathaniel sniffed carefully before taking a small bite of cereal. He blinked in surprise. "Wow, that's sweet." He took a second bite, a questioning look on his face. "You actually ate this for breakfast as a kid?"
Jason nodded. "Sometimes. There were a couple different ones Mom would keep in the cupboard. I also bought some Captain Crunch if you want to try that one next."
"Is this whole milk?!"
Jason laughed. "Yeah, I thought about giving you the whole experience and get skim milk, but this just tastes so much better."
Nathaniel let out a satisfied sound and settled closer against Jason. "Thanks, Jay."
Jason gave his back a gentle rub. "Alright this one is a good one. Not that the older ones weren't good, but you'll see."
"Are we still going in order?"
"No, we skipped a bit. We'll go back but honestly I wanted to get to some of the ones that were popular when we were younger." He grinned and grabbed the remote. "You ready?"
